Class of 2016

Moving from Greece to Cheltenham and joining Pittville School at the end of Year 9 has been one of the most pivotal moments for me. My initial inability to communicate in English and the uncertainty of moving to a foreign country was quickly neutralised by Pittville’s friendly and welcoming environment, helping me settle in relatively quickly. The constant support and guidance offered by the teachers as well as the opportunities for networking with other students, developing my subject knowledge and participating in extra-curricular activities helped me grow, not only as an academic student, but as an individual too.

Pittville gave me the confidence I needed to stand on my own two feet, aim high and succeed.

Following my GCSE results, I joined Balcarras School for my A-Level studies after which I got accepted to study Occupational Therapy at Oxford Brookes University. Being a third-year student now and looking back at my school years I am forever grateful for everything Pittville has given me and deeply believe joining Pittville for my secondary education was the best decision I could had made.
