Curriculum
At Key Stage 3 all students undertake a core programme of English, mathematics, science, modern foreign languages and humanities, including religious studies. In addition students participate in design technology, ICT, PE and the performing arts (drama, dance, art and music).
During tutor time and assemblies, students also participate in RSHE activities to enhance their understanding of the broader curriculum. In Years 7, 8 and 9 (Key stage 3) pupils take the following subjects:
In Year 7, students are organised into mixed attainment classes, using primary school data. Most students will study two Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and many/some will go on to study at least one language at GCSE.
