Students are required to be in education or training up to the age of 18 but can remain in free education up to the age of 19 allowing for up to 3 years of post-16 education. There are a range of education and career options post-18
- Higher apprenticeships from level 4 onwards
- Higher technical courses including HNC/HND, diplomas and foundation degrees from level 4 onwards
- University degree
- Full time work
